Like, truly felt content - not counting the moment you took off your bra and flopped on the couch with a glass of wine?

(We've all been there.)

For a long time after loss, I felt like I was living on autopilot. My days were full of "have to's" and emotional landmines. And while I may not have actually packed a bag and moved to a remote island (yet).... I definitely daydreamed about it more than once.

But here's the truth I had to face:

I didn't need a new postcode (not just yet).

I needed a new perspective.

We're sold this idea that joy is waiting on the other side of a major transformation - new job, new man, new hair (hey, I'm not knocking the bangs). But what if joy doesn't require a big life makeover?

What if it's already hiding in your current life - just waiting for you to make space for it?

Here's the shift:

Instead of fantasizing about an escape plan, I started creating pockets of peace, joy, and meaning in the life I am now living. Small things. Quiet things. Things that made me feel just a little more me again.

✨ Saying no to things that drained me

✨ Putting my phone down and putting music on instead

Tiny shifts. Major impact.

The Little Ritual That Changed My Days

One of the very first things I did that made me feel like I was back in the driver's seat of my own life?

I added a wellness ritual to my mornings: Tahitian Noni Juice.
