Hey there friend, I've walked this path too - and now I'm just two steps ahead, lighting the way.
After years in a demanding corporate career, life as I knew it came to a crashing halt when I became a widow at 44. I found myself navigating the fog of grief, aching for support, clarity, and a roadmap for what comes next.
When I couldn't find what I needed, I created it. First came Life 2.0 Pep Talks - a podcast filled with short bursts of empathy, encouragement, and straight-talking hope. That spark grew into the Redesign Your Life Community - a safe, supportive space where resilient women like you (and me) gather to reconnect, grow, and redesign our next chapters.

After becoming a widow, I completely lost the ability to function as I once did. Then I stumbled on Rebecca's website and for the first time in a lot of years, I was inspired to finally make some positive changes.

For a long time after loss, I felt like I was living on autopilot. My days were full of "have to's" and emotional landmines. And while I may not have actually packed a bag and moved to a remote island (yet).... I definitely daydreamed about it more than once.
But here's the truth I had to face:
I didn't need a new postcode (not just yet).
I needed a new perspective.
Episode 33: Design a Life You Don't Want to Escape From
We're sold this idea that joy is waiting on the other side of a major transformation - new job, new man, new hair (hey, I'm not knocking the bangs). But what if joy doesn't require a big life makeover?
What if it's already hiding in your current life - just waiting for you to make space for it?
Here's the shift:
Instead of fantasizing about an escape plan, I started creating pockets of peace, joy, and meaning in the life I am now living. Small things. Quiet things. Things that made me feel just a little more me again.
✨ Lighting a candle before I journal
✨ Standing in the morning sun with my tea
✨ Saying no to things that drained me
✨ Putting my phone down and putting music on instead
Tiny shifts. Major impact.
One of the very first things I did that made me feel like I was back in the driver's seat of my own life?
I added a wellness ritual to my mornings: Tahitian Noni Juice.
It's become my daily "I've got this" moment. One small shot, packed with goodness that supports my energy and immune system. But honestly? It's more than what's in the bottle. It's the message it sends: I'm worth taking care of.
